Increasing Profits Through Online Scheduling
Case Scenario:An independent attorney from the Bay area approached Sky Soft Consulting for website redevelopment. He wanted a website that provides a professional and a better profile interface.
At the same time, he wished to improve its manual business processes such as clients’ scheduling, credit card payments and paper works entries into electronic based system. All the manual businesses processes have been a barrier for his growth.
This is because the processes occupied too much of the lawyer’s productive and valuable time that could be invested in other meaningful practices such as; clients’ counseling time and the expansion of the businesses.
Problems:
- The Lawyer’s website does not have a professional image and the profiles are unattractive
- Complicated scheduling appointment business processes:
- Typed in customers’ particulars manually
- Checked vacant schedules

- Send meeting confirmation
- Charged the card payments for the 50% deposits manually

- We designed an online scheduling system that is integrated to his website.
From this system, he could:
- Update his calendar for availability remotely
- Have more control over his availability
From this system, his clients could:
- Check the attorney’s availability time from this system online and made appointments
- Fill their particulars
- Pay the deposit (50%) online. After the clients filled the above information and paid the 50% deposit, the system would send a confirmation and receipt to the customers through email. The system would also send the appointment notice and save the date automatically to the lawyer’s Microsoft Outlook
- We created an online payment ability in his website, so that clients could pay the 50% deposit online
- We also created a system that could automatically print out the appointments dates and the clients’ particulars
- An increase of attorney valuable time (at least a 30 minutes a day) that can be invested more into his clients’ consultation time
- An extra 30 minutes a day is an extra 120 hours a year. This worth at least $12,000 annually
- An improved professional image from the website’s and brand’s revamping
