We all get burned out at one time or another, I know I do. We try to do everything, our mind gets overwhelmed with all the activities or to do list we have to do during the day. At the end of the day, we still feel like we didn’t do much.
However, there are some things that I do to keep my motivation level up all the time.
Stop and Think. You need a break! Take some time off (10 to 15 minutes each day) to do nothing. Get back to a clear picture of why you are doing what you are doing. Usually a lot of new things will reveal themselves and you will be able to clarify your goals, rethink what needs to be done to improve your situation.
Prioritize. First things first. The Pareto Principle, similar to 80/20 rule, recognize that 20% of your activities give you 80% of the value. High priority items will have a big future impact. Separate the “urgent” to do list with “important” to do list.
